Achievements and awards. The university took part in the independent and objective evaluation of students’ knowledge. The independent evaluation of the Pharmacy major was performed in analytical chemistry.

Teaching staff. The faculty staff include 30 Professors, Doctors of Sciences, including 11 Doctors of Pharmaceutical Sciences and 17 Candidates of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The teachers are members of international associations, participants of international scientific programs, members of editorial boards of medical journals and various Russian and international associations, members of the Problematic Academic and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

Facilities and resources. There is a simulation center for acquisition of practical skills. The training facility is the university clinic drugstore. Students undertake all kinds of internship at the compounding pharmacies of the Bashfarmatsia pharmaceutical company, the Farmstandart-UfaVita pharmaceutical company, the Microgen Research and Production Association. Educational pharmacognosy internship is undertaken at the botanical garden-institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Herbs of Bashkiria company, the sites of the regional experimental station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in the Krasnodar and Altai Territories, the botanical garden in Sukhumi, the Raduga (Rainbow) plant collective farm of the Republic of Crimea.

Research. Research activities are carried out in the field of development of new drug dosage forms, production of new biologically active substances based on vegetable drugs and chemical synthetics. Pharmacological and pharmacoeconomic studies are also conducted.

Education. The departments use active and interactive forms of classes. Students have access to the electronic library system. The best students are holders of the Russian Federation President and the Russian Federation Government scholarships in the priority area of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy. Strategic partners. The university cooperates with South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (Kazakhstan), Kazakh National State Medical University (Kazakhstan), I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (Kyrgyzstan), Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China), University of Medical Sciences (Iran).

International projects and programs. The university has concluded a student and staff exchange agreement with South-Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy, Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. The joint scientific and practical conference has been held at Belarusian State Medical University.

Competitive advantages. The faculty implements student and staff exchange programs with South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Nanchang, China).

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. The faculty enrolls students from the CIS countries and other foreign countries (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Morocco, Vietnam, Iraq).
