Current position in rankings. According to the data obtained from the Monitoring of Quality of Admission to Russian Universities performed by National Research University Higher School of Economics, the academy was ranked 18th among 48 medical universities of Russia in 2018 (which is 11 positions higher than in 2017).

Achievements and awards. The program successfully underwent state accreditation. Over recent years, the program has become the winner of the all-Russian project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia several times.

Teaching staff. The educational program is implemented by the highly qualified teachers including Doctors and Candidates of Sciences (over 78%). Many of them are holders of different state and social awards. The heads of healthcare delivery organizations are invited as teachers for delivering lectures and giving classes.

Facilities and resources. The clinical facilities are multidisciplinary medical institutions of Ivanovo and the clinic of IvanovoStateMedicalAcademy with state-of-the-art equipment.

Research. The teachers conduct research in five main areas covering the most current issues in modern medicine. The clinical departments develop modern scientific approaches to the healthy family development; new methods of prevention, prediction, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation in patients with various pathologies.

Education. Students can master essential practical skills at the simulation and accreditation center equipped with simulators and robotized manikins.

Students are frequent winners of all-Russian and international olympiads and competitions: the Third International Practical Olympiad in Kursk; the international competitions “University Knowledge – 2018,” “Quality Education – 2018” in the field of Biological Sciences; the large-scale new-style educational Olympiad “I am Professional.”

Strategic partners. In order to implement the healthcare staffing programs, the academy actively cooperates with the executive bodies of nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The academy also maintains cooperation with the universities of Uzbekistan and Latvia.

Competitive advantages. The academy has the highly professional team of like-minded colleagues, the union of young and experienced educators who introduce state-of-the-art educational technologies into the learning process.
