Awards and achievements of the educational program. In 2014, 2016 the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Centre for Public Accreditation recognized the program as one of the best in the framework of the annual project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.

Teaching staff. Twenty departments of theoretical and clinical training are involved in the program delivery. The teaching staff include nine Doctors of Sciences, 11 Candidates of Sciences. Over 5,000 alumni of the Institute of Nursing Training are employed in the healthcare system of the Russian Federation, hold top positions in the leading healthcare providers, hold membership in the Central Certifying Commission of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, win in professional skill contests, defend dissertations, chair non-governmental organizations, become leaders of the nursing community.

Opportunities for students. During their studies students are engaged in all the activities organized at the university (research, artistic, sports), they take part in accredited professional conferences covering a variety of research topics, join student research associations. In the course of their studies at the university students may choose to become members of the Samara Regional Public Organization of Nurses and take part in all the activities organized by the nursing community of the Samara Region.

Employment prospects. Graduate students are qualified as an “Academic Medical Nurse. Teacher,” which enables them to be employed in nursing, rehabilitation, preventive care, school medicine, carry out teaching and research.
