Awards and achievements of the educational program. The program has successfully obtained professional-public accreditation. The faculty has been repeatedly marked as one of the best by a dedicated committee of the RF Ministry of Healthcare, management boards of the leading medical universities, and others. According to RAEX Rating Agency, it ranks among the Top 10 medical universities of Russia.

PEDIATRICS

GENERAL MEDICINE

Teaching staff. Forty university departments including five specialized departments are involved in the program delivery. Two hundred and forty-five teachers out of 311 have academic degrees or titles including 59 Doctors of Sciences, holders of the award of the Government of the Russian Federation, nationally recognized researchers and medical doctors.

University partners within the educational program. Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov, Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovskii, RUDN University (Moscow), Volgograd State Medical University, Belgorod State University, Voronezh State University, etc. The faculty cooperates with five foreign universities and 15 industrial enterprises. The faculty is fully engaged in the work of the Dentistry Research and Education Medical Cluster as an equal partner and representative of the East-European division of the Central Federal District.

Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Over 130 graduates every year, at least 6% graduate with honors. The employability rate is 100%, the graduates find employment in the biggest dental clinics of Voronezh and the Voronezh Region, the Central Black Earth Region as well as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, and Rostov. The Dental Alumni Association aims to improve the quality of dental education. In February 2017, the faculty’s fifth-year student took the first place in the Seventh All-Russian Student Dentistry Olympiad with international participation (Moscow).

Facilities and resources. The Dental Clinic of the university, the Dental Class at the virtual learning hospital of the university, 3D dental simulators. Laboratories, medical classrooms, teaching simulator and computer rooms, classrooms with modern equipment are available to students. The university has six dormitories and an impressive sports complex with a swimming pool.

Opportunities for students. Students do their practical training at the leading dental clinics (both commercial and state-owned) of Voronezh and the Central Black Earth Region with opportunities for further employment. Big commercial clinics may cover students’ tuition fees in exchange of further employment. The leading national and international educators are involved in the program delivery as visiting lecturers.

Employment prospects. General practice dentist, dental-therapist, dental surgeon, prosthodontist, orthodontist, pediadontist, maxillofacial surgeon, pathologist, clinical laboratory geneticist, etc.
