The 'Study UK: Discover You' Exhibition will take place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg in October, 2019
The exhibition will take place in Moscow on October 05 and in Saint Petersburg on October 06 with support from the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Moscow and the official partner of the exhibition – ECM Agency.
The event will bring together over 30 educational institutions of the UK including top universities such as University College of London, the University of Glasgow, City, University of London, University of Westminster, and many others. The main areas of the Study UK: Discover You educational program are art and design, business and finance, management, IT and innovations, engineering, medicine, linguistics, Engish language.
There will be an extensive program of seminars and lectures for the visitors. The British Embassy will present the Chevening Scholarship, the only scholarship available for Russians that fully covers their tuition costs. Cardiff Sixth Form College will give a lecture on how to enter a highly rated university in the UK, and the representatives of the University of Edinburgh will tell you how to make the right choice. The Alumni talks workshop will allow the visitors to communicate with graduates of British universities, ask questions and get necessary recommendations and tips.
Everyone interested will be able to take a free English test from Cambridge Assessment English and attend the lecture «How to Choose an International English Exam». The INTO centers representatives will tell you everything about professions of the future which will help graduates well-paid jobs. The speakers of the University of Warwick will give tips on how to make up a letter of motivation for university admission.
Leading British art universities such as University of the Arts London (UAL) and Goldsmiths University will share life hacks to build a creative portfolio to enter an art university.
The visitor will also meet Andrey Fedotov, one of the most popular bloggers, an English language teacher. He will compare approaches to teaching English in England and Russia and will dispel a myth that adults cannot master English. There will be many funny contests and prizes.
2019 has been announced the UK-Russia Year of Music 2019, so the educational program will include free seminars, lectures and master classes from the representatives of well-known music education institutions.
