Uzbekistan took part in the International Summit on Development of Global Education in Zurich

The delegation of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the International Summit on Development of Global Education organized by Times Higher Education Agency which conducts research to assess global ranking of higher education institutions.

The representatives of the Inspectorate met with Elsevier leaders, spoke about education reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and discussed issues of strengthening cooperation. The company's management expressed great interest in the Uzbekistan education system’s latest developments. 

Later, the delegation of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education arrived in Bern to meet and discuss the issues of strengthening cooperation with the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and became familiar with the Swiss education system and the work of universities and colleges in Switzerland. 

The delegation also had a number of meetings with Times Higher Education leadership, where they discussed the gradual entry of Uzbekistan universities into the TOP leading higher education institutions and with heads of European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ENQA.
