Scientists at Nazarbayev University made a world discovery in physics

An international scientific group at Nazarbayev University, consisting of scientists from the USA, Kazakhstan and Russia, made a world discovery in physics. The discovery  made by scientists Professor Zinetula Insepov (USA, Head of the International Anchor Project at Nazarbayev University), Professor Kurbangali Tynyshtykbaev (Kazakhstan, Officer of the International Anchor Project at the Nazarbayev University), Doctor Evgeny Emelin, Doctor Oleg Kononenko and Professor Dmitry Roshchupkin (Russia Institute of Microelectronics) as well as Dr. Kanat Baigarin (Kazakhstan, Advisor to the President of Nazarbayev University) opens up new opportunities for using graphene, a modern promising material, in micro- and nanoelectronics.

To date, graphene is the most durable, the thinnest and the most ultralight electrically conductive material in the world.

Recently, American scientists from the University of Arkansas (USA) have found out that graphene is also able to make a revolution in the energy sector with the prospect of becoming a source of almost infinite energy.

The results of the sensational study demonstrated the ability of graphene to amplify high-frequency acoustic signals at negligible energy costs.

The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the International Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions and the International Association of Authors of Scientific Discoveries presented the official certificate of the scientific discovery of the effect of the “Nonthreshold  Amplification of Surface Acoustic Wave” and the medals named after Nobel Prize winner Pyotr Kapitsa to the international scientific group of the Nazarbayev University consisting of scientists from the USA, Kazakhstan and Russia.

“Practical developments resulting from this discovery are of significant value for international companies operating in the defense industry, medicine, national security, space communications, for example, for creating the global Internet. Intellectual rights to the results of the commercialization of this discovery do not yet belong to Nazarbayev University. We are negotiating with investors about the commercialization of the project,”, said Professor Zinetula Insepov, the co-author of the discovery.
