North Rhine-Westphalia and the Russian Federation: sharing experience in digitalization and information technology, natural sciences and engineering

Science Conference between North Rhine-Westphalia and the Russian Federation will take place on November 16, 2018 in Muelheim an der Ruhr.

The exchange of experience on research projects in the fields of digitalization and information technology, natural sciences and engineering will be discussed at the conference. The event will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the German State of North Rhine. The Organizing Committee are the Center for Innovation and Technology "ZENIT" and the contact office of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Moscow. The media partners are Accreditation in Education Company and Higher Education Discovery.

The conference addresses experts from Russian and North Rhine-Westphalian universities and research institutes. The objective is to enhance and expand bilateral cooperation in research and innovation as well as initiate joint projects in the areas of digitalisation and information technologies, natural sciences and engineering.

The conference will present examples of successful bilateral research collaborations with partners in North Rhine-Westphalia. Experience reports on ongoing projects between North Rhine-Westphalia and the Russian Federation will highlight how such collaboration takes place in practice.

The Organizing Committee invites representatives of the professional community to contribute experience and ideas to the discussion within the framework of thematic workshops.

The plenary session will be held with simultaneous translation. The panel discussions will be held in English, participation is free of charge.
