THE Research Excellence Summit in Moscow: Transformation towards World-Class Research in the Natural Sciences

INVITATION

November 6, 2018, Moscow

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to participate in the world's first Research Excellence Summit organized by NUST MISiS in cooperation with Times Higher Education, the leading educational ranking agency. We offer a warm welcome to the heads of world-leading research and educational centres, representatives of departments and agencies, and experts in educational technologies.

The summit at NUST MISIS is held in the context of celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Moscow Mining Academy (MMA) – the origin of our university. We would like to emphasize the close ties between the past and the present, and pay the deepest respects and give thanks to several generations of remarkable scientists, outstanding educators and famous MMA graduates and seceded institutes. The MMA always managed to achieve its goals by responding to the challenges of the time, and that is the inspiring experience that we may apply to our present-day activities.

In addition, there is a special focus is on extending collaboration with the business community. Overall, Project 5-100 is enabling progress in the quality of education and research performance, allowing us to stay competitive in the global academic community.
