SKOLKOVO INNOVATION CENTER
The modern forms of education and new staff training strategies will be discussed at the first day of the OPEN INNOVATIONS, the VII International Innovative Development Forum.
On October 15, the professors of the world's leading universities, business and administration representatives will discuss methods of effectively training experts in the rapidly evolving modern market. The Forum's participants and guests will enjoy an intense discussion program on the trajectories of the education sector’s development in accordance with the latest technological trends. The latest tools for educating school and university students will be displayed in Skolkovo. One of the topics will be the role of digital technologies in receiving basic or professional knowledge. The chancellors of several leading European and Asian universities will give a presentation entitled "the Future of Education" at the Forum. Many foreign universities are already developing and successfully implementing these digital strategies, investing a significant amount of resources into modernizing their infrastructure. Some progressive Russian universities are already following suit.
"In my scientific research, I have found a clear link between the ability to acquire new information, and the growth rate of the economy of various countries. This will be discussed at the Forum with colleagues from other universities, economic analysts, and representatives of the business community. Open Innovations provide experts with a unique opportunity to solve the problems encountered in modernizing education on a global scale. Schools and universities will be able to observe and adopt cutting edge strategies for digitalizing the education process" says Eric Hanushek, a professor at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University.”
Among those expected to give speeches at the forum are: Marques D. Anderson, Director General of the World Education Foundation; Shlomo Weber, professor and chancellor of the New Economic School; June Breivik, the BI Norwegian Business School representative; Sergey Mardanov, University Relations Director at the Mail.Ru Group; Michelle Ching, founder and director general of Forbes Under 30 Education; Andrey Sharonov, president of the Moscow School of Management, Skolkovo; Dmitriy Peskov , Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Digital and Technological Development.

They will also discuss the problems of monetizing education projects. A separate series of questions will be dedicated to business education. How will competition in this market change with the introduction of new players such as consultation firms, or quality online educational programs launched on professional social media?
On the Forum's second day, a wide range of questions concerning the topic of "Business and the State" will be discussed. The final day will be dedicated to the development and support of innovative projects.
