HEI’s image. NizhnevartovskStateUniversity is the leading HEI in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra, which carries out training of highly qualified, competitive and demanded specialists for various industries of economy and education of the region through the delivery of high quality educational services.

Programme presentation. A specialist in PR or, which is more often, a PR office with up to several dozen staff members is an essential part of any big or medium commercial company and any large-scale cultural or political initiative. The sphere of activity of the graduates in this programme includes promotion of particular products, services and brands as well as the entire territories, global political and media projects. Graduates are prepared to perform journalistic, organizational, editorial and production activities.

The Department actively cooperates with educational institutions with the view of establishing a single education area. Among the achievements of the staff, there are victories in contests of grants of the Russian Scientific Foundation for the Humanities, the Governor of the District as well as in international contests of psychological and pedagogical projects for adaptation of migrants in Russia.

The Programme is supplied with adequate and sufficient material and technical re-sources. Classrooms are equipped with TV and video tools and multimedia projectors; Internet access is available.

Teaching staff. 2 Doctors and 11 Candidates of Sciences teach at the major Department. Among them there are holders of the title the “Honoured worker of education of Yugra”, an Acting Member of the RussianAcademy of Natural Sciences and the InternationalPedagogicalAcademy.

Interaction with employers. Cooperation agreements have been signed with the leading city and regional advertising and PR agencies and mass media. Within cooperation with law enforcement officers the teachers carry out forensic examination of written and oral texts.

Students are placed for work experience in recognized HEIs and mass media, successful companies in the sphere of advertising and PR and in major advertising agencies. Educational work involves representatives of the professional community and prominent researchers of partner HEIs. Interuniversity student exchange is available.
